by emailing the number in your group to
morgancoleman@gmail.com. See you on the 13th!
Cost is £5 per person and all proceeds go to the UKTE Scholarship.
Other than that, the cost is up to you, and your capacity to drink. It is
recommended that you bring cash with you to avoid the lengthy bar tab paying
process, or worse – having to go pick your card up the next day after forgetting
it!
Past Pub Crawls have been a blast and you don't want to miss out - take a look at photos from past years: 2008, 2007 & 2006!

Can anyone
come?
Of course, the more the merrier! Just please let us know how many people
are coming by emailing Morgan
(morgancoleman@gmail.com).
Where do
we start?
The Prince Edward pub,
73 Princes Square, W2 4NY
(closest tube Bayswater). Please see the schedule with
addresses and approximate times for the order of the day.
What time does it
start?
Arrive at the first pub around 12:00pm and be prepared to move out by 1:30pm to
the second pub.
Why does it
start so early?
We are arriving at opening time at the first pub to make sure that we get our
food in a timely manner (ie before the locals wake up!). If you just can’t seem
to get here on time, see the next question.
Do I have to come
for the whole day?
No. We hope that you do come for the whole day, but if you can't make it, meet
us somewhere en route (please see schedule).
Why do I need to
give a donation to the
UKTE scholarship fund
– I’m an Aggie (or, I have some other silly excuse)?
This event has been organised by the UK Texas Exes. The UKTE Scholarship provide
assistance to a student from the UK to the University of Texas. Beyond the fact
that this is a good cause, it may make up for anything
stupid you may do
during the crawl that embarrasses us in front of our host country.
Why are there
(only) 5 pubs on this pub crawl?
Because it is bloody harder than you think to find pubs within stumbling
distance that comply with our strict criteria!! If this is too few for you
He-men out there, feel free to stumble onwards after the last destination to the
many other nice pubs in the area!
What is the plan for
eating?
We are spending extra time at the first pub so that you can have lunch (and line
your stomach!). Each pub on this crawl also serves food.
I want to
help, can I?
Absolutely. There’s plenty of need for Minders to “bring up the rear”, “crack
the whip” and “collect the stragglers”. See Morgan Davis on the day or drop her
an e-mail at
morgancoleman@gmail.com
to join up.
I know I’m
going to be a bit late on the day, how do I find you?
Call Morgan or David (see numbers below). During the crawl, maps with
numbers will be provided. If you are late or falling behind during the crawl,
you will be able to phone or text to discover where we are.
Who can I
contact directly in case I’m lost or for any other reason?
Morgan – 07890 623 419
David – 07775 704 232
How do I get home?
Departing the pub crawl is easy. Just do not move on to the next location and it
is down to you to get back to your own house or wherever else you may be headed.
If you have made it to the end of the pub crawl, you will be very near Holland
Park tube station.
